SSB ki yaadein

Flipping thru the pages of my book called life...i do some times get into flash back (Just like another Ekta Kapoor Series). Some times i just wish i could turn back time.......just go back to past and re-live those moments that have become my memories. One such memory was the SSB call of Indian Armed force in the last week of September 2004. just after my final year exams… aaah!
That time I always had one question in my mind that why do we have exams...Yuhi degree de do yaar....kyu apna n hamara time waste karwa rahe ho..we can use this time na..?(Can anyone tell me who invented this exam ???Saale ko ghar pe jaa ke hi fodunga :-/)..
but i was glad it got over. Anyways...sillly me.silly are my thoughts.....let me fast foward my life here.

So come back to the point..My SSB center was Bangalore..cool naa…I always interested to come bangalore but I never thought I would come like this..i mean to say for Armed force, because this place is famous or some other things not for armed force….Whatever the reason..i got the chance to come here and I am still here..

This SSB experiance had been more entertaining, more learning than i expected......I actually lived kinda live army life for a week.... The very first day we arrived the Incharge read a huge list of rules n regulations.....and a time table sort a thing for us.....n left me wondering how on earth I m gonna do that.....I was not the only one who had this feeling….we are total 156 candidate..and most of us has same feeling..hehehehe

Time Table that he chucked out was some like this:…
Morning Alarm : 5Am
Bed Tea : 5.30 Am
Hotwater in Washrooms : 5.30 -7.00Am
BreakFast : 6.30Am - 7.00 Am
Attendance : 7.45Am

Activites (Involved Personal Interviews ,Physical Tasks
and Group Activities and Conference Interviews) : 8.00AM - 2.30 Pm
Lunch : 2.30PM - 3.30Pm
After 3.30Pm we are free to visit city .
Reporting at SSB campus : 8.00pm Sharp.
Dinner : 7.45 Pm - 8.30 Pm
In room by 9.30Pm

As per the selection process First task was screening ..and only 49 candidate remain after that.. and I was one of them… And then the real game starts……

The Morning Raga:

Getting up in the morning was always a big fite for me.....and that too in such a chilly bangalore morning......God! i hated that sooooo much......the water was soooooo cold....it was a herculean task to even touch it.....i kept on wondering if a Big Big ice slab was kept in the Overhead tank that kept on melting and flowed thru the pipes to our taps….But some how I manage to arrive for the breakfast at right time..

Psycho Intelligence Tests:

Its just a written test…nothing interesting…. But question were really interesting in this test…
And as usual I gave same interesting answer for those questions but with silly shade….

Physical Activities and Group Tasks:

The best part was this one....had to move in groups. chuck out a plan......blah blah blah!....i really enjoyed these task..here first time I tried tarzan jump (bas tarzan ke jaise ohohoo nahi karna tha..hehehe) .barman bridge and some other interested thing..
But I don’t know why every one called me for help in Command task(in which one of our group memeber is plays a role of commander and he can call any one for support ) ...only god knows...how i did this command task…pata nahi logon ke dimag main kya kya ideas aate hai and u have to do it becoz in task ur not in the position that u can say no to any one…pata nahi kaha - kaha se jump karvaya tha….bole to bache ki jaane lene pe tule hue the….

Personal interview:

I forget the name of interviewer but he was some brigadier..and Mine interview went for say about 55mins to 60 mins......man! that interview wale ne mere dimag ke dahi kar di thi......believe me.....He asked me sooooooooooooooo many questions that i had to interrupt him saying...i was thirsty! I wonder if he was waiting to dissect me......
But as usual yeha pe bhi main apne stupid hone ke saare proof usko de diye…
Here is some of those question…
What is ATM?
What is STD?
Now u can understand the level of question …but the best part of this interview was my silly answer..not these silly question….
For ATM I told.. Asynchronous transfer mode instead of Automatic teller machine
And for STD…. sexually transmitted disease.. instead of .. Subscriber Trunk Dialing…
Aye abhi khatam nahi hua hai
Then he ask u like cricket..i said yes…. Then he go for next one..
So what u like in cricket… Batting or bowling…. And my answer was fielding….!!
I am sure that..ki us brigadier ne aise answer kabhi nahi sune hoge…..

choos liya saale ne!

Anyways....i was out.....Rest....forget it......m not gonna say you….
The best thing that I liked there is the time that I spent in the campus and on MG road during this selection process….. we were group of 7-8 people…who generally pass our time on MG road only… vo bhi logon pe comment maar maar ke….. hehehehe...you must be thinking kitna kamina hai yeh!!!! but believe me...its fun....even if i had written this blog....but ...i am sure these journal wouldn’t make you feel the impact that it had on me......

tanhaiyee

aao chalein..
tanhaiyee akeli hai...

aakhir usse achha saathi aur kaun ho sakta hai...
aur phir, humse achha musafir aur kaun ho sakta hai...

Zindgi ki kashti kab lage kaun se kinare, kab ise milengi manchahi bahare...
Jeena to padega hi kaise bhi pyare, kabhi dosto ki bheed me to kabhi tanhai k sahare !!

Who am I ?

As I sit under the dim lights of my living room... at exactly 1 am of this lulling morning... swatting mosquitoes around my pc's corner table... I ask aloud..

Who am I ?

The reverberating silence in the quiet cool of a moonlit night is all that greets me in return...
Accompanied with the buzzing of the fan overhead.. and the "thik thak thok" of the keys on my keyboard.

One more question that comes in mind that.. is this happen with me or its a common thing..
I am sure i will never get the answer... but still i have to live and move ahead... And i am really moving.. no idea where..and why..but still..

Is this the way of living.. I think this is the reality.. and this is the real world...

The world around me is my Reality.
But only as long as this body exists.
When I cease to live,
my reality ceases to exist.

I am my Reality.
I am my World.

I AM!

Windows VISTA's DRM is the 'longest suicide note in history'.

Windows Vista is the much anticipated next version of the Windows operating system produced by Microsoft Corporation.

According to Microsoft, IT departments will find Windows Vista upgrades easier to deploy and less expensive to maintain than earlier versions of Microsoft Windows. Windows Vista will also offer an enhanced graphical user interface and improved reliability.

But most surprising news that i heard is that Windows VISTA's DRM is the 'longest suicide note in history'.

Copy-protection features in Windows Vista make the operating system more bloated while giving few benefits to end users according to news.

I don't know why most of the operating system specialist are arguing that windows Copy-protection feature is not good enough to protect the data.

I am not a operating system specialist but for me VISTA gives so many features other then this "Copy-protection".There are things to love about Vista. Enhanced search capabilities, a nifty tool called Gadgets and built-in diagnostics are all welcome changes from the old Windows.

May be all the specialist correct and Windows VISTA's DRM is the 'longest suicide note in history' but i really like graphics features of this operating system.
